Please note that this role is subject to conditions:
As an IT service provider that works closely with schools, we are dedicated to protecting children from harm and adhere to strict safer recruitment practices. We believe that each role involves engaging in regulated activity, as defined in the KCSIE 2026, and as such, all applicants will undergo a comprehensive vetting process. This process includes safeguarding and pre-employment checks, such as an enhanced DBS with a children’s barred list check, qualification checks, two satisfactory reference checks, a full employment history check (with explanations for any gaps), medical fitness, and identity checks. We may defer the start date if the relevant checks are not completed by the specified start date. Before the interview, shortlisted candidates will be required to disclose why they may not be suitable to work with children, and we may conduct an online search as part of our due diligence. After a successful appointment, applicants must complete mandatory training and continue to do so regularly to maintain our commitment to safeguarding children. Compliance with our safeguarding measures is a condition of employment for all employees.
