Field Application Specialist - BNL Region (focus region: Wallonia-Luxembourg)

The Field Application Specialist is responsible for installation, demonstration, training, troubleshooting, and follow-up of the instrument portfolio at customer sites. The FAS acts as a subject-matter expert, providing advanced product knowledge, answering complex customer questions, and works in close collaboration with the sales, FSE and MKT teams.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor installed base
• Perform installations of new instruments and associated training and validation
• Conduct professional customer demonstrations and trainings
• Provide IT support (software solution, LIS connection, data handling) related to Sebia configurations
• Ensure scientific support (internal and external)
• Assure quality follow up in case of customer complaints:
• Promote new assays on the existing installed base.
• Support in tender documents
• Facilitate products strategies aligned with the company goals

• Bachelor or master’s in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biochemistry or Lab technician
• +3 years of relevant experience
• Insights of the clinical lab or experience as lab technician is an asset
• Feeling with autoimmunity and/or electrophoresis is a plus
• Knowledge of IT, business-related tools and network
• Written and verbal communication skills in French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a nice to have
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle sensitive information with discretion
