Job description
- Define and execute comprehensive test and validation strategies for complex electromechanical and autonomous systems
- Develop, coordinate, and optimize system integration activities across hardware, embedded software, communication interfaces, and sensor technologies
- Design and support the implementation of test benches, integration rigs, and verification environments for subsystem and system-level testing
- Lead qualification and validation activities from laboratory testing through field and environmental trials
- Ensure clear definition, validation, and traceability of interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and iterative system improvements based on integration and test results
- Support the transition from prototype development to repeatable, production-ready system architectures
- Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to structured engineering decision-making
Requirements
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Robotics, or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of experience in integration, verification, validation, and testing of complex technical systems
- Strong background in developing test strategies, test concepts, and test environments for hardware-near systems
- Experience building or supporting integration labs, validation setups, or hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Solid understanding of system interactions across mechanics, electronics, embedded software, and networking technologies
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, document engineering decisions, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience with technical documentation, configuration management, and production-oriented development processes
- Ideally familiarity with autonomous systems, sensor integration, communication technologies, or maritime environments
