Job description
This contract role could see you supporting the coordination and delivery of agile initiatives, working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and stakeholder alignment. You would be part of a collaborative environment where your focus on removing impediments, facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams could directly improve delivery outcomes. The contract is based in Birmingham, West Midlands, offering flexibility and the chance to make an immediate impact on how teams work together., * Facilitating daily standups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to keep agile ceremonies on track
- Identifying and removing blockers that could impede team progress and delivery velocity
- Coaching team members on agile practices and supporting a culture of continuous improvement
- Supporting delivery performance improvement through metrics, feedback loops and process refinement
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clarity of priorities and alignment across workstreams
- Contributing to backlog refinement and user story creation where appropriate
- Helping teams adopt or strengthen agile ways of working, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements
- Proven experience facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting team coaching
- Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and support resolution of blockers and impediments
- Understanding of agile frameworks, principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
- Experience working in or supporting multi-workstream or cross-functional delivery environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different team contexts
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-have experience includes:
- Formal Scrum Master certification or equivalent agile coaching qualification
- Exposure to SAP, microservices, cloud technologies or distributed systems environments
- Experience with agile tools and BPMN or process mapping
- Knowledge of risk, issue and governance reporting in delivery contexts
