Job description

  • Coach multidisciplinary teams, Product Managers, Delivery Managers and leaders in agile principles, practices and mindsets.
  • Implement Kanban, flow-based delivery and lean approaches to improve delivery predictability and optimise value delivery.
  • Identify organisational challenges and delivery constraints, implementing improvements that increase productivity and team effectiveness.
  • Support the development and adoption of the organisation’s Product Operating Model and product-led ways of working.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and transformation initiatives across multiple teams and service areas.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an Agile Coach leading large-scale agile transformation programmes.
  • Strong practical experience with Kanban, lean delivery, flow metrics and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven ability to define and implement OKRs, delivery metrics and performance measures that support data-driven decision making.
  • Experience developing delivery roadmaps, aligning work to strategic outcomes and driving organisational change.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills, with experience influencing senior leaders within large and complex organisations.
  • Experience supporting Product Operating Model implementation and product-led delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of modern product management, lean portfolio management and value stream thinking.
  • Previous public sector experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Product Managers, Delivery Managers and multidisciplinary digital teams.
  • BPSS eligibility required.

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Agile Coach to work for our client within the Public Sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London, requiring 1 day per week on site.
