IT Field Engineer

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an IT Field Engineer to join their technical team, providing a mix of on-site customer support, project delivery and remote technical assistance across a diverse client portfolio.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering technical support both on-site and remotely, helping customers maintain secure, reliable and high-performing IT environments.

The role combines field engineering, project work and service desk support, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and customer environments., * Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting across customer locations

• Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades and technology migrations
• Assist with project delivery, including new site installations and office moves
• Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support across server, network and desktop environments
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions
• Troubleshoot networking, connectivity and security-related issues
• Escalate and resolve complex technical incidents with senior engineers
• Maintain accurate documentation and update service tickets
• Support the service desk team when not attending customer sites
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within an IT Support, Infrastructure or Field Engineering role
• Previous experience working within an MSP environment
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
