Job description

As our IT Technician, you’ll be the frontline support for our online retail platforms, video distribution infrastructure, and software development environments. You’ll troubleshoot issues, maintain hardware and networks, and ensure our teams - from developers to customer-facing staff - have reliable systems to work with., * Provide technical support across Windows, macOS, and Linux for end-users, including development and content teams

  • Troubleshoot software issues in Microsoft Office and enterprise tools (ServiceNow, Jira, SCCM, BMC Remedy)
  • Maintain and upgrade hardware supporting e-commerce platforms, media/video workflows, and dev environments
  • Configure and support networking: LANs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, switches - critical for uninterrupted online sales and video streaming operations
  • Manage Active Directory (user accounts, permissions, security policies)
  • Monitor network security (firewalls, VPN access) to protect customer, transaction, and content data
  • Support Windows Server and Linux server environments, including those hosting web/e-commerce and video distribution services
  • Log and document incidents, resolutions, and configurations via ticketing systems
  • Communicate clearly with both technical (dev) and non-technical (retail/ops) staff

Requirements

  • Proven IT support/help desk background with solid TCP/IP and LAN/WAN knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Windows (incl. Server), macOS, and Linux
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management
  • Software troubleshooting skills (MS Office, SCCM, BMC Remedy)
  • Experience with VPNs, network security, and platforms like ServiceNow/Jira
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fast, effective diagnostic and problem-solving ability - ideally with exposure to e-commerce, streaming/media, or software dev environments (a plus, not required)
