Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our client’s growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality detailed design drawings, and fabrication packages for projects within the water treatment sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated designer with a strong background in steelwork and pipework design, ideally gained within the clean water and wastewater (sewage) treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop accurate 2D/3D models and drawings for plant layout

2. Produce details fabrication and installation drawings

3. Work closely with project engineers, mechanical engineers and site teams

4. Conduct design reviews.

5. Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning

1. Proven experience in 2D design of steelwork

2. Industry standard 3D design software such as AutoCad Plant 3D, Inventor, Solidworks

3. Strong understanding of mechanical plant layouts and fabrication techniques
