Technical UI/UX Designer (Contract)

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as iteration planning, retrospective, and daily standups
• Proactively research possible issues affecting the availability of our platform
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and customers to gather and evaluate user requirements and build impactful features
• Build internal component libraries that will be used across products to ensure an uncommonly great user experience
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups
• Optimize existing user interface designs and conduct usability testing.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience with Wordpress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in using Git version control
• Previous working experience in high-growth technology companies and/or startups
• Understanding of interaction design principles.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day), at a desk working on a computer.
• Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
