  • 5 years using Data Pump export/import, OEM, performance tuning, database security, patching, and technical documentation.

  • 10 years troubleshooting complex database problems.

  • 10 years of professional technical communication.

  • 3 years of Linux or Unix administration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Highly desired:

  • 1 year supporting a Commonwealth of Virginia Oracle-to-OCI migration.

  • Current Oracle Certified Professional certification.

  • 3 years administering SQL Server 2019 or newer.

Benefits & conditions

Direct W-2 cash-rate screening range: $60 to $66 per hour, subject to final employer-cost verification and written terms. The top of the range is reserved for candidates with the strongest exact OCI migration, RAC/ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, certification, and local onsite fit.

  • Any employer-sponsored benefit option, if available for this hire, will be separately priced and described in writing before the candidate chooses.

  • Direct agreement through the candidate’s own bona fide business may be considered only if the client program permits it and classification, insurance, and administrative costs fit; terms will be provided separately in writing.

IEC Tech works directly with the selected professional. Individual 1099 classification and layered third-party representation are not offered through this posting.
