Profiler

• Operate profiling machinery (e.g. plasma/Oxy-fuel) to cut steel plate to specification
• Interpret engineering drawings, cutting lists and work instructions
• Set up, calibrate and adjust machines to achieve accurate cuts and high-quality finishes
• Carry out basic maintenance and pre-use checks on machinery
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments to optimise output and minimise waste
• Work closely with production, welding and fabrication teams to meet schedules
• Complete all relevant paperwork and data entry as required
• Adhere to all health & safety, quality and housekeeping standards

• Proven experience as a Profiler / Profiling Machine Operator within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment
• Confident reading and working from technical/engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of steel grades, plate thicknesses and cutting tolerances
• Ability to operate CNC profiling equipment (plasma/oxy) - programming experience advantageous
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good awareness of health & safety in a workshop/production environment
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working weekend night shifts
