Senior Infrastructure Engineer

You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure schemes, including:

• Highway design incorporating Section 38 and Section 278 agreements
• Drainage design covering Section 106, 104 and 184
• Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports
• External works and drainage modelling
• Coordination of infrastructure designs with structural Revit models
• Client liaison and attendance at design team meetings
• Taking projects from initial design through to successful completion

A particularly exciting aspect of the role will be helping to develop and enhance the consultancy’s 3D modelling capabilities, using Civil 3D / Site 3D to model drainage and external works and coordinate these with structural models.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced infrastructure professional with a strong consultancy background and the confidence to take ownership of projects.

You’ll ideally bring:

• At least 5 years’ UK-based consultancy experience in a relevant infrastructure discipline
• A relevant Civil Engineering qualification, preferably to degree level
• Experience with Flow, InfoDrainage, PDS, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of current technical standards and design requirements
• Experience preparing FRAs and Drainage Strategy Reports
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a design team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience dealing directly with clients and attending design meetings
• The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• CEng or IEng status would be advantageous
• A full UK driving licence
