AWS Solution Architect

You will work with technology teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop practical technical designs and support the delivery of cloud-based systems., * Design and develop cloud solutions using AWS services.

• Translate technical and business requirements into practical solution designs.
• Support cloud migration and modernisation projects.
• Review existing cloud environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop architecture documentation and technical standards.
• Work with engineering teams to support solution implementation.
• Consider security, reliability, scalability and cost when designing solutions.
• Support integration between cloud services and existing systems.
• Contribute to technical reviews and architecture discussions.
• Assist with troubleshooting complex cloud and infrastructure issues.
• Maintain clear documentation for cloud solutions and technical decisions.
• Keep up to date with relevant AWS services and cloud practices.

This role is suited to someone with strong AWS experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems while balancing performance, security, cost and operational requirements., * Professional experience designing or supporting AWS cloud environments.

• Good understanding of AWS architecture and core cloud services.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, networking and security principles.
• Understanding of scalability, availability and disaster recovery.
• Experience working with technical teams on solution delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or Infrastructure as Code is beneficial.
• AWS certifications are advantageous but not essential.
