Job description
- Analyze and implement healthcare system integrations.
- Design and develop HL7 v2.x interfaces.
- Integrate EMR/EHR, LIS, RIS, PACS, billing, and third-party systems.
- Perform message mapping, transformation, routing, and validation.
- Troubleshoot interface/data exchange issues.
- Handle testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Maintain interface specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, clinicians, vendors, and project teams.
- Ensure healthcare privacy, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong HL7 v2.x experience.
- Knowledge of ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM, VXU.
- Experience with an Interface Engine: Mirth/NextGen, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Ensemble/IRIS, Corepoint, or IBM.
- Strong SQL/database querying skills.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, REST/SOAP.
- Scripting: JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, SFTP, APIs, and healthcare interoperability.
Good to Have
- FHIR, CDA/CCD, X12, DICOM.
- Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform integration experience.
- DevOps/CI-CD exposure.
- HIPAA/HITECH knowledge.
- Healthcare data migration experience.
