Job description

• Design and develop new products and enhance existing machinery
• Apply engineering best practices including QFD, FMEA, design for manufacture, prototyping, and testing
• Ensure all designs meet safety, performance, and reliability standards
• Manage engineering data in line with global standards and systems
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through design improvements and supplier collaboration
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), ideally with design experience in mobile or tracked equipment
• Strong 3D CAD skills (CREO preferred) and experience with PDM systems
• Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Experience in mobile recycling machinery (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of Oracle TMS (advantageous)
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, * Proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Strong decision-making skills when evaluating design alternatives
• Ability to identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
• Innovative thinker with a passion for engineering excellence
