Job description
We are looking for someone who has excellent written & verbal communication skills both internally and client facing, is enthusiastic and strives for continual improvement, a highly responsive team player with a can-do attitude to supporting our Radiologist & Clients out in the field and the wider organisation at our Head Offices.
This role is vital in the services we provide and will involve travel to radiologists across the UK to install their home hub diagnostic reporting workstations, you will; pre build, schedule, transport, and install the system at the Radiologists Home or office location, test the set up ensuring they are ready for operational use, with some basic trouble-shooting where necessary, to ensure our radiologists are fully equipped to receive and report the scans we have received from our NHS and Private sector clients.
The Successful Candidate will have:
- Strong background in IT.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors to design, develop, operate, and implement core information systems.
- Duties will include diagnosing and fixing problems, developing solutions, and keeping systems up to date.
- Responsible for maintaining records of work completed and ensuring that equipment is compliant with industry standards.
- Install and configure IT equipment, such as servers, routers and switches
- Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Ensure timely resolution of technical problems and queries from customers
- Provide user training and assistance on IT systems and applications
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service activities
- Comply with IT security and safety procedures in the field
- Participate in after-hours as required
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and technical support teams to deliver high-quality services to customers
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency
- Travel to customer sites to perform on-site service, maintenance and repair work.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a GCSE?, Company Van: you must be 25 years or over and have had a full clean driving license. The Company vehicle is for use on installs only and to be left on site when not on install., * Exceptional communication skills
- Highly organised, has time management skill and enjoys route and workload planning to maximise efficiency
- Windows OS, Windows Applications, hardware builds - Desktop / Laptop, Basic Networking, Troubleshooting
- Strive to provide excellent customer service
- Flexibility to meet the availability of Radiologists Nationally.
Person Specification
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Relevant IT qualification(s) - ITIL, MSP, CompTIA, CCNA
Experience:
- experience in technical support, repair, or maintenance is highly valued.
- sound knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and software applications.
- good communication skills.
- relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Preferred

- Good time management skills and ability to plan and prioritise workload.
- Self-motivated, flexible and committed.
- Attention to detail and ensure that tasks are completed.
