Job description

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and data transformations
  • Work with SQL queries and relational data sources
  • Work with Microsoft Fabric components, including Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Notebooks
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models and BI solutions
  • Investigate and resolve data-related issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and team members on the development of data solutions
  • Follow established development practices, coding standards, and team processes

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, especially Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Notebooks
  • Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred; PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Git or another version control system
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the Data Engineering area
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English, * Understanding of data warehouse concepts, including DWH modeling and Data Mart design
  • Knowledge of Python and PySpark
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts
