IT Technician - Laptops

• Securely wipe data from laptops and tablets to certified standards, and log the evidence
• Test and grade devices: what works, what needs parts, what’s for recycling
• Carry out repairs and upgrades - RAM, SSDs, batteries, screens
• Record serial numbers, specifications and asset details accurately for client audits
• Prepare devices for resale, including removing old labels and ownership tags
• Keep your bench clean and your records straight.

• Hands-on experience with computer hardware. Professional, academic or self-taught all count equally, a Level 3 IT qualification, a stint in phone or PC repair, or a home lab are all relevant
• Real attention to detail. Serial numbers matter here
• Willingness to learn GDPR and WEEE requirements. We’ll teach you both

Businesses send us their old laptops. We erase them securely, refurbish what’s reusable and recycle the rest. You’d be the person doing that work.

We’re a growing company, and we’d rather train someone with the right instincts than hire someone already finished. If you’ve fixed, upgraded or built computers, at work, at college, or on your kitchen table - we want to hear from you., * Salary reviewed at 6 months, then annually
