Your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities. Here are some examples of how you will contribute:
- Developing, owning and delivering integrated change management strategies and plans for complex digital and transformation programmes.
- Leading current-state assessment and future-state operating model and process design with clinical, operational, digital and corporate stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining senior stakeholder sponsorship, engagement and commitment, using influence and constructive challenge to address resistance and competing priorities.
- Leading change impact assessments to identify implications for people, roles, processes, structures, culture, technology, training and service delivery.
- Setting the approach and quality standards for change products, including stakeholder maps, engagement and communications plans, change impact assessments, readiness criteria and adoption measures.
- Designing and overseeing transition and business continuity arrangements so that operational and clinical services remain safe and effective throughout implementation.
- Applying and tailoring recognised change management methodologies and delivery frameworks, to suit the programme and organisational context.
- Defining adoption and benefits measures, monitoring progress, using insight to target interventions, and ensuring that change is embedded after implementation.
- Leading and developing change resources, contributing to bids and business development, and strengthening Proceaâs methods, tools, knowledge base and wider consulting capability.
Requirements
- Substantial experience leading change management within complex digital, technology-enabled or service transformation programmes.
- Proven ability to take ownership, work independently and lead effectively within multidisciplinary programme and customer teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills, with the credibility to advise and influence senior executives, clinicians and operational leaders.
- Strong practical experience producing and assuring high-quality change strategies and products, including impact assessments, stakeholder maps, engagement plans, process maps, communications plans, readiness assessments and adoption measures.
- A strong track record of turning strategic objectives into practical change interventions that deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes.
- Significant experience in healthcare, the NHS or another comparably complex, and operationally critical environment.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build sponsorship, navigate organisational politics, manage resistance, and achieve alignment across diverse groups.
- The ability to analyse complex information, identify the implications for people and services, and communicate clear recommendations and decisions.
- A sound understanding of NHS structures, governance, clinical and operational priorities, and the context for digital health transformation.
- Demonstrable understanding of how digital systems, process redesign and new operating models affect clinical practice, operational delivery, workforce and organisational culture.
Additional Skills That Set You Apart
While not required, these additional strengths will help elevate your impact even further:
- Experience leading change for major digital healthcare programmes, including Electronic Patient Record (EPR), shared care record, diagnostics or enterprise-wide clinical system implementations.
- A recognised change management qualification
- Experience in operating model design, process redesign, service improvement, organisational development, or behavioural change.
- Experience establishing benefits, adoption and change analytics frameworks and using data to direct interventions and assure outcomes.
- Experience supporting implementation, cutover, command centre, stabilisation and post-go-live optimisation in an NHS or healthcare setting.
- Consulting experience, including shaping assignments, managing customer expectations, contributing to proposals, and identifying follow on opportunities.
- Experience managing, coaching, or developing change analysts and building capability within customer teams., * Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation: 1 year (required)
Benefits & conditions
Salary: ÂŁ45,000-60,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits
