Drive engagement and readiness activities across clinical services
Work in partnership with the Clinical Change Team to embed new ways of working

- Working closely with the Clinical Change Team, Programme Leadership and key stakeholders across the Trust, creating enthusiasm, understanding and readiness at every level of the organisation. This role is not about simply managing plans and actions. It’s about winning hearts and minds, building confidence, overcoming barriers, and ensuring our people feel prepared and supported as we approach one of the most important milestones in the Trust’s digital journey.

- The Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group is implementing a shared Electronic Patient Record across three acute trusts: James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH), * Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Allied Health Professional with current registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g. NMC or HCPC)

Has excellent engagement, communication and influencing skills
Can inspire others and create enthusiasm around complex transformation programmes
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with demanding timelines
Understands healthcare operations and the challenges faced by frontline teams
Can work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and professional groups
Brings energy, resilience and a relentless focus on delivery
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about people and understands that successful digital transformation is fundamentally about changing behaviours, adopting new ways of working and supporting colleagues through change., * Educated at degree level in a health-related subject or equivalent experience, * Quality Improvement Certification
- PRINCE 2 or equivalent
- Change Management qualification or equivalent
- Formal leadership and management training
- Continuing professional development and reflective profile, * Extensive Management and Leadership experience within the NHS or similar
- Significant experience in leading organisational change and introducing safer ways of working.
- Experience in delivering and implementing change.
- Recent clinical experience and experience of daily operational working in a service setting
- Experience of managing staff from different professional backgrounds, * Knowledge and Experience of working with Quality Improvement Methodologies and Cost Improvement plans.
- Significant experience of implementing Trust wide Digital Health Systems
- Knowledge and experience of DCB0129 and DCB0160 standards, * Personal resilience and determination to make a tangible contribution to healthcare
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong proven administrative and organisational skills
- Able to create correspondence and devise visual presentations requiring accurate use of English
- Ability to analyse complex data and problem solve
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload effectively
- Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality and accurate work to tight deadlines
- Excellent standard of documentation and record keeping

About the company
In just 10 months, James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) will go live with a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group (NWUHG) programme. This is a once-in-a-generation transformation that will fundamentally change how we deliver care, support our staff, and improve outcomes for our patients.
We’re looking for an energetic, influential and experienced NMAHP (Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional) who can inspire people, build momentum and drive clinical engagement across the organisation during this critical phase of the programme.
Ideally, you’ll already know JPUH AND our people, services and culture. You’ll understand how change is experienced on the frontline and have the credibility and leadership skills to help our teams embrace one of the most significant digital transformations the Trust has ever undertaken.
This an exciting secondment or fixed term opportunity which will expose you to a huge transformation programme. As the EPR NMAHP for JPUH, you will collaborate with the other NMAHPs on the programme, playing a pivotal leadership role in ensuring our organisation is ready for go-live.
