IT Support and Systems Assistant

We are looking for an IT Support and Systems Assistant to help with day-to-day IT management and support.

This role would suit someone who is practical, reliable, has good attention to detail and is comfortable being client-facing. The work will primarily involve device and platform management, end-user support, incident reporting and escalation, and assisting with IT projects.

You will work closely with the Director across all aspects of IT service delivery.

Main Duties

• Managing onboarding and offboarding
• Provisioning and decommissioning devices, accounts and services
• Troubleshooting software, hardware, networking and system issues
• Supporting ongoing IT projects
• Maintaining system and client documentation
• Monitoring systems, reports and alerts
• Assisting with patch management and routine maintenance
• Reporting, investigating and escalating incidents
• Helping to implement good IT security and management practices

• Good general IT knowledge or practical IT experience
• An understanding of computer hardware, software, networking
• Familiarity with basic web technologies
• Good problem-solving skills
• A helpful and patient attitude
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Thorough and detailed

Preferably someone based in or near the North Kent area

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as some travel to client sites may be involved.
