Job description
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to join our team and take ownership of our IT function as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing and being hands-on. You’ll lead and support the IT team, while also getting involved in the day-to-day operation of our systems, infrastructure and technology, with a particular focus on our core Salesforce application stack., * Lead and manage the IT function, ensuring the team provides a reliable and effective service across the business.
- Manage, support and develop members of the IT team.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of our IT systems and infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting when required.
- Manage IT projects from planning through to implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall use of technology across the business.
- Manage relationships with external IT providers, suppliers and technology partners.
- Monitor IT performance and ensure issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Support the business with technology decisions, upgrades and future IT requirements.
- Ensure appropriate policies, procedures and documentation are in place.
- Act as the key point of contact for IT across the wider business.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who combines strong IT knowledge with excellent people and management skills.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an IT Manager or similar senior IT role.
- Experience managing and developing an IT team.
· Previous Experience of Salesforce Technologies.
- Strong hands-on technical knowledge and a willingness to get involved in the detail.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, systems and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience delivering IT projects and implementing new systems.
- A good understanding of IT security and data protection.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- A practical, proactive approach and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- The confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
- A genuine interest in improving how technology supports the wider business.
