Job description

You’ll be joining the Subsidiaries Analytics & Insight team, supporting both BA Cityflyer and BA Euroflyer. The team plays a vital role in helping the businesses make better operational and commercial decisions by transforming data into actionable insight, developing reporting, analytical and AI solutions, and supporting key strategic initiatives that drive performance across the airlines. What you’ll do:

  • Analyse data to provide actionable insight, recommendations and decision support.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and investigate performance issues.
  • Build, maintain and enhance reporting, dashboards and analytical models.
  • Support strategic projects by providing analytical expertise and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders across the business.
  • Deliver high-quality management information to support decision-making.
  • Support planning and forecasting activities.
  • Work with operational, airport and commercial datasets to identify opportunities and improve performance.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • The ability to combine data analysis with commercial and operational understanding.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Motivation and drive to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn, develop new skills and investigate the story behind the data.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others and share knowledge and best practice.
  • Professionalism, integrity and a strong focus on safety, security and customer outcomes., * Numerate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience using Excel, SQL or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience working with data visualisation and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience analysing data and translating findings into recommendations.

Desirable

  • Experience using Python.
  • Experience building AI agents.
  • Knowledge of British Airways systems and data sources.
  • Experience in Revenue Management, Finance or a related analytical discipline
