Job description
We are looking for an organised and motivated Data Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will summarise and read code relevant information from patient clinical records, hospital correspondence, and other clinical sources, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into patient records. The role will also include providing telephone support during busy morning periods, including answering calls and booking patient appointments.
The role requires strict adherence to practice protocols, confidentiality, and data protection standards.
This post will require the candidate to work 8am-1pm Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Summarise patient records and hospital correspondence
- Read code relevant clinical information accurately
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records
- Work in accordance with practice protocols and GDPR requirements
- Liaise with clinicians and administrative staff where required
- Provide telephone support during peak morning periods, including answering calls and booking patient appointments
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and IT skills
- Experience working with confidential information
- Previous NHS, GP practice, or medical administration experience desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
