Job description
- Administers and maintains the club’s IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, networking, Wi-Fi, firewalls, backups, virtualisation and endpoint security.
- Manages Microsoft 365 and cloud services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, user accounts, licensing, permissions, MFA and device management.
- Provides day-to-day IT support across the club, troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, telephony and user access issues across the stadium, offices and other club facilities.
- Supports matchday and event technology, including stadium connectivity, ticketing, EPOS/payment systems, turnstiles/access control, CCTV, digital signage and other operational systems.
- Manages and supports the club’s stadium LED systems, including Unilumin displays, NovaStar control systems, HDMI matrixes, fibre-optic video distribution and associated servers/controllers. Troubleshoots signal, hardware and connectivity issues to ensure reliable matchday operation.
- Works closely with the Commercial team to deliver pitchside LED advertising, including building and scheduling advertising playlists, managing digital content, testing sponsor assets and ensuring commercial content is displayed correctly throughout matches.
- Manages and supports stadium PAVA (Public Address and Voice Alarm) and general PA/audio systems across the stadium and hospitality areas, including amplifiers, speakers, audio routing, microphones and associated control infrastructure.
- Supports and maintains stadium life-safety technology, including PAVA, addressable fire alarm systems and whole-building alarm/notification systems, with a strong understanding of the relevant EN 54 standards and the additional controls, testing, documentation and maintenance requirements associated with life-critical systems.
- Supports the integration and interaction between stadium technology and building systems, including fire alarms, PAVA, access control, CCTV, networking, AV and other connected infrastructure.
- Manages IT and technology hardware throughout its lifecycle, including procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, asset management and replacement.
- Maintains cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery arrangements, ensuring systems are appropriately patched, protected, monitored and recoverable.
- Works with external IT, telecoms, AV, fire, security and technology contractors to diagnose faults, coordinate servicing and installations, and deliver infrastructure improvements.
- Maintains technical documentation, system diagrams, asset records, licensing and configuration information, taking ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
- Support technology budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of experience administering and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.

- Self-starter who works well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and executive communication skills, including ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical users
- Ability to efficiently organize, prioritize, schedule and manage daily work activities, tasks and assignments in conjunction with larger projects
- Available to work matchdays (Saturdays and some Tuesday evenings), as well as occasional after work hours
