This position is based in Virginia Beach, VA, and supports a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days onsite each week to facilitate collaboration with government and contractor stakeholders, data validation, and program coordination. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Extract, organize, validate, and maintain boat-level data, including hull/identification numbers, serial numbers, configuration variants, installed systems and equipment, delivery locations, acceptance dates, warranty information, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop standardized spreadsheets, status trackers, summary reports, and data products for government program offices, logistics personnel, and sustainment stakeholders.
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate asset, configuration, location, status, and lifecycle information within designated lifecycle management, configuration management, property accountability, and asset tracking systems.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation across contract documentation, delivery records, and system databases; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support configuration management by documenting baseline configurations, modifications, and as-delivered conditions for individual boats.
  • Coordinate with government program offices, technical representatives, logistics personnel, and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve data gaps.
  • Maintain data version control, documentation, and audit trails to support data integrity and financial accountability.
  • Support preparation of data packages required for acceptance, transfer of accountability, and transition into sustainment.
  • Perform other related data analysis, reporting, and system support activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of relevant professional experience in contract data analysis, logistics, configuration management, asset management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience analyzing and extracting data from complex government contracts, technical documentation, and deliverables involving multiple assets, configurations, or delivery locations.
  • Experience developing reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and data summaries for government, technical, or program management audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with lifecycle management, configuration management, property accountability, or enterprise asset management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Navy, NAVSEA, or other DoD acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • Experience supporting small craft, patrol boats, RHIBs, or similar watercraft assets.
  • Experience with configuration management, property accountability, lifecycle management, or logistics information systems.
  • Experience working with government-furnished information and contract deliverables.
