Assistant Director of Digital & Transformation

We’re seeking an ambitious and strategic Assistant Director of Digital and Transformation to lead our digital agenda and play a pivotal role in delivering our organisational goals.

At Cartrefi, we are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilled and enriched lives in the community and you will play a vital role in this., * Lead the development and delivery of our digital transformation strategy and roadmap.

• Manage and develop the digital team, creating a high-performing and innovative culture.
• Develop and deliver a structured lifecycle and governance framework for identifying, testing, evaluating, scaling or retiring new digital technologies.
• Identify opportunities for digital improvement and transformation across Cartrefi through a user-centred and inclusive approach.
• Enhance the organisation’s digital infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and fit for purpose.
• Work with colleagues at all levels to drive adoption of digital solutions and embed digital ways of working.
• Establish measures and reporting mechanisms to evaluate the impact and success of digital initiatives.
• As part of our senior leadership team, provide strategic advice and insight on digital trends, opportunities, and risks.

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Leadership?, * Significant experience developing digital and data capabilities across an organisation, ideally in a charity or public service context

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• A good understanding of data governance, reporting, analytics and cybersecurity
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading organisational change.
• Direct delivery experience, comfortable rolling up sleeves and making practical improvements.
• Experience of delivering major, organisation-wide projects using defined project management frameworks

Other requirements

• Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle - there will be a requirement to travel throughout Wales to other Cartrefi Cymru offices, therefore, the use of a car with appropriate business insurance will be required
