An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Central Services Team at The Apprentice Academy as a Compliance & Funding Officer.
This pivotal role is responsible for the preparation and submission of funding and data returns across the Academy’s provision, supporting internal and external audits, and providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues on funding and compliance matters.
You will become part of a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team, working closely with colleagues to maintain the accuracy and integrity of learner data across the Academy’s learner records systems.
This is a ‘working from home’ role with very occasional travel required to our head office in Manchester (potentially twice a year).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Experience of submitting external data returns and working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of ILR returns using validation reports such as PDSAT.
- Experience working with DAS and apprenticeship funding.
- Experience using learner record systems with the independent training sector or FE.
Desirable for the role:
- Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules.
- 3+ years in an apprenticeship compliance role.
- Has worked with Aptem.
Skills:
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex data issues clearly.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, and escalate issues when needed.
- Experience of working effectively under pressure and adapting quickly to change.
- Proven ability to create and maintain tracking systems and spreadsheets for data monitoring and compliance.
- Team player with a ‘One Team’ mentality.
- Flexible and proactive approach., * apprenticeship funding compliance: 3 years (preferred)
