Software Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Software Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD ., * Review and analyze software/hardware configurations for specific environments

• Create and maintain product builds and development/test code baselines
• Recommend enhancements to configuration management systems, build processes, and delivery systems
• Troubleshoot technical problems
• Communicate solutions effectively to team members
• Interface with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with customer expectations
• Document and report status updates, including metrics
• Provide informal mentoring to junior staff on project-level tasks
• Participate in internal process improvement initiatives
• Provide feedback and suggestions on processes
• Adhere to technology policies and comply with security controls
• Ensure all work products meet/exceed the firm’s standards

• Java programming
• Python programming
• AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Software configuration management
• Code baseline management (development and test environments)

Preferred Skills :

• AI/Machine Learning skills (added advantage)
