Job description
- Lead multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity, ensuring successful delivery of agreed-upon outcomes and business objectives.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and external partners to maintain alignment and project momentum.
- Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder communications, status reporting, and executive updates.
- Monitor project financials, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, and variance management.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation strategies and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Manage project scope and change requests while ensuring adherence to established governance processes.
- Collaborate with resource managers and department leaders to secure and allocate project resources.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and change management activities to support successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience leading technology and business-focused projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience interacting with technical teams and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Experience facilitating discussions, resolving conflicts, and driving consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to build credibility, influence outcomes, and effectively navigate organizational change.
- Understanding of business process improvement, organizational change management, and technology implementation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Preferred Project Experience:
- Network infrastructure upgrades and cloud modernization projects
- Cybersecurity, identity and access management, and security enhancement initiatives
- SCADA, operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure projects
- GIS, asset management, and field operations technology deployments
- Enterprise software implementations, SaaS platforms, and system integration projects
- Technology transformation efforts involving platforms such as ESRI, IQGeo, Verkada, Splunk, SAP, Five9, CUSI, Elements, or similar enterprise applications Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
