Job description
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to support a global plant technology modernization initiative focused on reducing operational risk, standardizing technology environments, and modernizing infrastructure across more than 1,000 manufacturing locations worldwide. This position provides day-to-day project leadership across multiple concurrent workstreams, helping establish structure, governance, reporting, and execution processes within a complex enterprise environment., Manage and coordinate approximately five active workstreams supporting a large-scale technology modernization program.
Partner with workstream leads to define scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and status reporting processes.
Establish consistent project governance, tracking mechanisms, and reporting standards across the program.
Build and maintain visibility into milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Coordinate activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and deployment partners.
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions.
Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and program updates for leadership audiences.
Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning activities, backlog management, and roadmap development.
Assist technical teams in identifying priorities, dependencies, roadmap gaps, and execution risks.
Drive project documentation, action item tracking, and organizational alignment across workstreams.
Support change management activities associated with technology deployments and modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with teams to collect and track financial information, operational costs, subscriptions, and budget-related commitments.
Requirements
7+ years of dedicated IT Project Management experience supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives.
Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Strong background establishing project governance, tracking, reporting, and execution frameworks.
Demonstrated success developing project plans, managing dependencies, and driving projects to completion.
Experience managing project risks, issues, mitigation strategies, and change control activities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations and reporting.
Experience working within large corporate environments and navigating complex organizational structures.
Ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment among teams with competing priorities.
Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project Management tools.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams that include business, technical, operational, and vendor stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, hardware, or technology deployment programs.
Experience managing projects involving deployments across multiple locations or facilities.
Hands-on experience using JIRA for backlog management, roadmap creation, sprint planning, and story tracking.
Background supporting manufacturing, plant technology, industrial, or operational technology environments.
Experience driving global or multinational transformation programs.
Familiarity with organizational change management practices related to technology implementations.
Previous experience supporting large-scale modernization, standardization, or risk-reduction initiatives.
Experience gathering and tracking project financials, operational costs, software subscriptions, or budget commitments.
