Software Engineer - Project Management

Seven Resourcing is recruiting for a Software Engineer - Project Management contract opportunity. This is a remote role suited to an experienced professional who combines technical understanding with strong project delivery and stakeholder management capability.

This position sits within a corporate functions environment and focuses on delivering structured project outcomes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution of technical and business-driven initiatives.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery activities while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. The role requires strong organisational ability, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of software-focused project environments.

You will support planning, coordination, reporting, and delivery assurance across multiple workstreams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to required quality standards., * Develop and maintain detailed project plans and delivery roadmaps

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and business stakeholders
• Track project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Provide regular reporting and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Support resolution of delivery issues and escalations
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project governance sessions
• Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business objectives
• Assist in transitioning completed work into operational support teams
• Contribute to documentation, training, and knowledge sharing
• Maintain compliance with governance, quality, and delivery standards
• Support continuous improvement across project delivery processes

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Strong experience in software-focused project environments or technical delivery roles

• Background in project coordination or project management within IT or engineering teams
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and delivery frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams
• Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools
• Degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field desirable
• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certification advantageous, * software-focused project environments or technical delivery: 2 years (required)
