Job description
- Prepare AV/ADAS vehicles for testing and execute test plans.
- Test and evaluate vehicle hardware and software functionality.
- Troubleshoot and identify potential hardware or software issues.
- Document testing activities, results, and issues.
- Work with software engineers, vehicle operators, and operations teams.
- Follow safety procedures during all testing activities.
Requirements
We are looking for a Vehicle Testing Specialist to support testing activities for autonomous vehicle (AV) and ADAS programs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or automotive testing and understands basic vehicle sensors and testing processes., * 2+ years of hardware/software testing or similar technical experience.
- Prior AV, ADAS, or automotive experience required.
- Understanding of cameras, radar, LiDAR, and GPS/IMU.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware or computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Linux, Jira, Confluence, or Slack experience is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
