Job description

The Infrastructure Engineer II serves as a senior technical resource responsible for supporting, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions for our clients. This role combines advanced technical expertise with exceptional customer service and communication skills.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Brunswick, Maine. While much of the work is performed from our office, the role requires approximately 25% local travel to client locations for project work, onsite troubleshooting, consultations, and technology deployments., Client Support & Escalation

  • Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
  • Troubleshoot complex server, cloud, network, and security issues.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for junior team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues, solutions, and recommendations.

Infrastructure & Cloud Administration

  • Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and related cloud services.
  • Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, and virtualization environments.
  • Configure and support networks, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN technologies.
  • Administer backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.

Projects & Documentation

  • Participate in migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.

Mentorship

  • Coach junior engineers.

  • Share technical knowledge.

  • Assist with internal training initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences., * 5+ years of IT experience

  • 2+ years in a managed services environment preferred

  • Experience supporting multiple client environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
