Oracle Migration Engineer

We’re recruiting an Oracle Migration Engineer to support the migration of systems and services using Oracle KVM technology. This is a highly technical role, ideal for someone with strong Oracle infrastructure and virtualisation migration experience, who can ensure stable, secure, and efficient system transitions within a complex enterprise environment., As an Oracle Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, configuring, and delivering Oracle KVM-based migration activities across critical systems and services. You will play a key role in ensuring successful migration delivery with minimal disruption, while maintaining system integrity, performance, and security throughout all phases of the project. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, optimise processes, and ensure accurate technical documentation is maintained., * Supporting the migration of systems and services using Oracle KVM technology

• Planning, configuring, and implementing Oracle KVM migration activities
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during migration projects
• Ensuring system performance, stability, and security throughout migration processes
• Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to minimise service disruption
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and migration records
• Providing technical support and guidance where required
• Ensuring adherence to migration standards, policies, and best practices
• Supporting infrastructure optimisation and transition activities

Do you have experience in Oracle?, We’re seeking a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer with hands-on Oracle infrastructure migration experience and excellent problem-solving skills., Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong technical experience with Oracle KVM
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure or virtualisation migration projects
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Ability to attend an in-person interview if required

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Previous experience within local government or public sector organisations
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of system administration, virtualisation, and migration best practices
