Front End Software Development

Job description

Develop and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces.* Ensure solutions align with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.* Work independently with UX/UI, accessibility, LMS, and vendor teams.* Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Support technical governance, development standards, and release processes.* Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.* Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.* Contribute to integrations involving APIs, design systems, and deployment automationwhere applicable.* Work within or support Brightspace (D2L/Desire2Learn) LMS environments.

Requirements

Experience:

5 years of relevant front-end development experience.* Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.* Core Competencies: Expert-level knowledge of responsive design and web accessibility(WCAG 2.1 implementation)

Soft Skills: Strong communication and troubleshooting capabilities

.* Preferred Skills: Brightspace/D2L, design systems, APIs, or deployment automationExperience., * UI developer: 5 years (Preferred)

Accessibility standards: 1 year (Preferred)
HTML, Javascript: 1 year (Preferred)
