Job description
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvement, and improved data visibility.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain production-ready solutions using: Microsoft Power Apps (including Canvas and Model-Driven applications); Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and Business Process Flows; Power BI; Microsoft Dataverse; and SharePoint Online and approved Microsoft 365 connectors.
- Develop automated workflows and applications that eliminate manual processes and reduce administrative workload.
- Develop and deploy automated ticketing and workflow-management capabilities.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint Online, and other approved enterprise applications.
- Design and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide leadership and staff with timely, actionable information.
- Develop secure and maintainable data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, and other approved sources.
- Ensure solutions align with DHA Power Platform Center of Excellence standards, including environment management, solution packaging, naming conventions, security roles, and Data Loss Prevention requirements
- Develop and execute system integration, user acceptance, and other testing activities.
- Support migration and deployment of solutions across development, test, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application, automation, and reporting issues and provide post-deployment support.
- Create SOPs, technical design documents, architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, user guides, administrator guides, quick-reference materials, and job aids.
- Deliver end-user, administrator, and train-the-trainer instruction.
- Plan, track, and report development activities using Agile methodologies.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to Government stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience with the ability to understand operational requirements, translate them into practical technical solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. The Developer will work across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and related Microsoft 365 tools to automate manual processes, improve information visibility, and reduce administrative burden., * 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Certifications: PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant; PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst; PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate; PL-100.
- Demonstrated experience developing production-grade Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong technical documentation and training capabilities.
- Ability to document user and business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
- Strong organizational and customer-service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to successfully complete the required Government background investigation, * Previous experience supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA).
- Experience working in a DoD, military healthcare, or federal healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing solutions in highly regulated or security-conscious enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify innovative solutions to complex operational problems., * Bachelorâs (Required), * Power BI: 3 years (Preferred)
