Core Lending Application Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance business capabilities within Fiserv Loan Director / Velocity.
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and application performance.
• Develop and support integrations using APIs, REST, SOAP, and web services.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
• Work closely with technical teams, application owners, and business stakeholders.
• Support lending and core banking applications in a production environment.

We are seeking an experienced Core Lending Application Engineer to join our IT Core Lending team in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong application development background with experience in banking or lending platforms., * 8-10 years of application development or software engineering experience.

• Strong programming experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and Linux Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing or supporting Power BI dashboards.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams., * Experience with Fiserv Loan Director / Velocity.
• Knowledge of core banking and lending systems.
• Experience with Temenos Collections.
• Knowledge or experience with Fiserv DNA.
• Previous experience supporting applications within the banking or financial services industry.
