The successful team member will be responsible for the following company objectives.

• Improved Cash Flow: Timely and accurate application of payments ensures that funds are available for business operations, reducing the days sales outstanding (DSO) and enhancing liquidity.
• Financial Accuracy: Proper allocation of payments minimizes discrepancies in financial records, leading to accurate financial statements and reporting.
• Customer Satisfaction: Efficient processing of payments reflects positively on the company’s professionalism, leading to improved customer relationships and trust.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamlined cash application processes reduce manualworkloads, allowing staff to focus on strategic tasks and reducing operational costs., * Payment Processing: Recording client payments in appropriate accounts and ensuring timely application.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies, such as overpayments or underpayments.
• Customer Inquiries: Addressing client inquiries related to payments and account statuses.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconciling accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Record Maintenance: Maintaining accurate records of transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Intercompany Reconciliation: Provide manager and US Controllerwith a reconciliation of intercompany cash movements.
• Tax-Exempt Forms: Assist Accounts Receivable in updating and maintaining customer tax-exempt forms to ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.

• Cash application and AR posting expertise across payments: checks, ACH, EFT, wire, credit card, lockbox, and third-party processors.
• Strong experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, NetSuite, Infor CSI, and Microsoft Dynamics, or similar; ability to navigate AR modules and post journal entries.
• Proficiency with electronic remittance formats (EFT/ACH formats, EDI 820, CSV/XML remittance imports) and mapping for automated matching.
• Hands-on experience with AR automation and matching tools (and configuring matching rules to increase straight-through processing.
• Bank reconciliation knowledge and familiarity with bank file processing, lockbox reconciliation, and treasury interfaces.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience

Preferred

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Working Conditions & Travel

• Requires prolonged periods of sitting, viewing computer screens, and keyboard use.
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, audits, or other business-related activities.
• This role follows a full-time schedule and requires regular in-person work at our Florence, KY office. Candidates must live within commuting distance. Must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States without visa sponsorship.
