NETWORK AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled NETWORK AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s and that of our customers systems and ERP programs . This pivotal role involves managing complex network systems, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance across diverse environments. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovative network solutions, a keen eye for troubleshooting, and a commitment to strengthening our technological backbone. Duties include;

· Install and configure computer networks, systems, software, and peripherals as assigned or requested.

· Systems Maintenance including but not limited to phone systems, applications, ERP system, internet, firewall, VPN, switches, printers, scanners, tablets, TV’s, etc.

· Identifying and solve any problems that arise with computer networks, systems, software, and peripheral equipment.

· Consult with staff to specify system requirements and design solutions

· Maintain existing software and hardware and recommend new hardware as needed.

· Monitor computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved.

· Work with other IT support personnel.

· Provide network and system administration and support

· Perform Onboarding tasks for new clients, including but not limited to: acquire, test, and document VPN information, assist in clients’ systems management as requested.

· Perform Server “Health Checks” for clients as requested.

· Maintain good rapport with clients.

• Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SFTP, FTP, SSH, SSL/TLS protocols.
• Hands-on knowledge of routers/switches implementation; Windows operating systems; and various other devices.
• Expertise in network security measures such as firewalls, VPN configuration including SSL VPNs and site-to-site VPNs; network monitoring tools; vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V; experience with system administration
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting of network issues involving routing protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills complemented by effective communication abilities to collaborate across teams and document technical procedures clearly.
