Do you have experience in REST?, We’re looking for a mid-level PHP developer with strong Laravel experience to join our remote team. You’ll work across backend and frontend development, helping us build, maintain, and improve our platform.
This role would suit someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, working independently in a remote environment, and contributing to both technical implementation and product quality.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working on our Laravel-based application, building new features, improving existing functionality, integrating with REST APIs, and helping maintain a reliable, well-tested codebase.
You’ll also work on frontend experiences using Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks, with opportunities to contribute to UI quality, accessibility, and user experience.
What we’re looking for
You should have:
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
- Experience with JavaScript and Vue.js, or a similar modern frontend framework
- Confidence building robust, user-friendly frontend experiences
- Experience working with REST APIs, third-party packages, and deployment workflows
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Fluent written and spoken English
- The ability to self-manage, communicate clearly, and stay organised in a remote team
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to learn, improve, and keep your skills sharp
Nice to have
It would be a bonus if you also have experience with:
- Tailwind CSS
- Test-driven development
- Web standards and accessibility
- UX, typography, or graphic design principles
- Docker or other containerisation tools
- Kubernetes or similar deployment infrastructure
