Mainframe Engineer/Developer - Client Site

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Engineer/Developer to join a collaborative, high-performing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support mainframe applications while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions from development through production., * Develop, enhance, test, and debug mainframe applications.

• Perform code analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and environment teams to promote code across development, testing, and production environments.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution.

• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging mainframe applications.
• 5+ years of COBOL development experience.

• Strong experience with:

• CICS
• COBOL
• DB2
• VSAM
• MQ
• JCL

Experience with Endeavor Software Manager.

Familiarity with DB2 utilities, File-AID, job schedulers, and debugging tools.

Knowledge of secure file transfer processes (SFTP/AWX).

Understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing is preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• CICS systems administration knowledge.
• Experience with Java and front-end technologies such as Angular., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $ $75,168-$156,600. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
