Field and resolve support calls from dental practice staff, triaging and escalating issues as needed

Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID: user accounts, mailboxes, permissions, and basic Conditional Access/security settings
-
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot small office network equipment (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points)

Set up and install computer and network hardware at new and existing office locations

Deploy, image, and configure office computers and company-owned cell phones for new hires and new locations
-
Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records, including asset tagging and lifecycle tracking
-
Support imaging/practice-management software workstations and peripherals as needed

Coordinate with the IT Manager on procurement, equipment refresh cycles, and site rollouts

Maintain HIPAA-conscious handling of systems and data across all support activities

Travel occasionally between practice locations to support installs, rollouts, and on-site troubleshooting
Requirements
This role serves as front-line technical support across Onsite Dental’s practice locations, handling day-to-day help desk calls, administering Microsoft 365 and small office networks, and managing the lifecycle of end-user hardware. The position requires strong customer service skills, comfort troubleshooting under time pressure, and familiarity with the operational realities of a dental office environment., * Bachelor’s degree required (Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field)

Experience with computer and network hardware setup and troubleshooting

At least one current certification in Microsoft 365, networking, or security (e.g., MS-900, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience supporting IT in a dental or healthcare office setting

Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 (users, licensing, mail, basic security)

Experience with small business network administration (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, basic firewall)

Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset for supporting non-technical staff
PREFERRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Associate (MS-102) - advanced M365/Entra administration
-
CompTIA Security+ - security fundamentals relevant to a HIPAA-governed environment

Tableau or other BI/reporting certification - data visualization and reporting tools
