IT Technician

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, We also have several clients that utilise Google Workspace for Education and iPads so experience in these technologies would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working across many sites and working with many different technologies. For the right candidate additional training will be provided where necessary, however the role does involve face-to-face contact with customers so good communication skills are a must.

The role offers the chance to progress quickly and get hands on experience with several different technologies.

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (CRB) check.

To be shortlisted for this position you MUST have a driver’s license and your own car. Travel expenses will be paid. A laptop and company phone will be provided.

Essential requirements:

A minimum of a BTEC national, Advanced apprenticeship or equivalent is essential in the field of IT. Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess good experience of first line support and 2nd line desirable.

Understanding of networking.

Experience with cloud technologies.

Knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server.

Desirable:

Experience of Apple Technologies and Google Workspace.

Experience of working in schools.

Experience with WIFI/Switch installations, particularly Ubiquiti

Experience of using Intune and other MDM’s,

Any further certifications in IT., * IT support: 2 years (required)

Due to rapidly increasing demand for our unique and personal ICT support services we have an immediate requirement for an ICT Senior Support Technician to join our team. The position is full time and permanent involving mostly onsite support but remotely as well.
