Junior Software Engineer

• Work with clients to develop custom applications and systems that meet real business needs.
• Transform the unstructured workflows of highly skilled professionals into repeatable, automatable sets of instructions.
• Develop and test features for ClearOffice Hub, our flagship enterprise automation platform.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software products already running in production.
• Write user-facing documentation and train client staff on new tools.
• Integrate LLMs and AI-powered tools into client workflows.

• B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Working familiarity with Git and collaborative version control.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
• Ability to document workflows and translate non-technical business processes into automated software products.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical professionals.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate as part of a team.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack application development.
• Rust, Tauri, Docker, Linux system administration, or distributed application development.
• Automating business processes with Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, or code (Python, VBA).
• Experience in a professional service industry (Legal, Finance, Medical…) documenting workflows and utilizing technology to solve problems.
