Job description

Real Animation Works is seeking a talented, motivated, and confident Junior Interior Designer / Software Training Tutor to join our growing team.

While the role includes assisting with interior design projects, the primary focus will be on teaching and delivering software training courses to our clients. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, helping others learn, and has excellent communication skills.

We work closely with interior designers, architects, and design professionals on a variety of residential and commercial projects, whilst also delivering professional software training throughout the UK and internationally.

Key Software Requirements

Applicants must have good working knowledge of:

  • Vectorworks
  • SketchUp
  • AutoCAD
  • Photoshop

Bonus Skills

  • Adobe InDesign
  • 3D visualisation and rendering
  • Experience delivering training, tutoring, mentoring, or presentations, * Delivering one-to-one and small-group software training sessions
  • Teaching Vectorworks, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and related design software
  • Supporting clients throughout their learning journey
  • Assisting with course preparation and training materials
  • Assisting on live interior design projects
  • Producing CAD drawings and technical documentation
  • Creating 3D models and visualisations
  • Supporting presentations and material boards
  • Working closely with senior designers

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teaching?, * Strong passion for interior design and architecture

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in teaching and training others
  • Good understanding of space planning and technical drawings
  • Ability to produce plans, sections, elevations, and layouts
  • Friendly and professional approach with clients
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work on Saturdays (essential)
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced creative studio
