AI/CAD Implementation Consultant

The primary objective is to reduce fixture design time, automate repetitive engineering tasks, and improve overall engineering productivity., * Analyze engineering and fixture-design processes and identify opportunities for automation.

• Develop practical AI and CAD automation solutions that save engineering time.
• Automate repetitive AutoCAD and engineering documentation tasks.
• Develop tools, scripts, templates, and workflows to improve design efficiency.
• Explore the use of AI, CAD APIs, AutoLISP, Python, Inventor iLogic, and similar technologies.
• Work directly with engineers to implement and improve automated workflows.
• Train engineering staff and document successful processes.

• Hands-on AutoCAD experience - REQUIRED.
• Engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing, or related technical experience.
• Experience creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical design and engineering workflows.
• Experience with AI tools, automation, or process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate engineering needs into practical solutions.

Preferred

• Autodesk Inventor experience.
• Experience with fixture, tooling, or jig design.
• AutoLISP, Python, C#, VBA, iLogic, or CAD API experience.
• Experience implementing AI or automation in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidate: A hands-on engineering/CAD professional with strong AutoCAD experience who understands how to apply AI and automation to real-world engineering problems.
