Senior Design Engineer

Our client are looking for an established Design Engineer who will take ownership of machine design projects from concept through to manufacture, supporting customer projects, product development, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives., * Design and develop machinery for manufacture using SolidWorks

• Produce build manuals, user manuals, testing and statutory documentation
• Support R&D and cost reduction projects
• Carry out equipment testing, occasionally with customers present
• Work closely with Mechanical Design and Control & Automation Engineers

Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Strong SolidWorks skills (EPDM Vault experience advantageous)
• Good understanding of pneumatic systems
• Industry knowledge of Packaging, End of line production, FMCG Manufacturing
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively
