Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analysing, and refining product designs to meet client specifications and industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects within a collaborative environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive our company’s success., * Develop detailed design concepts and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements to see project from cradle to grave.

  • Have experience in structural stress analysis .
  • Complete full bill of materials.
  • Analyse design specifications and perform feasibility studies to optimise functionality and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management to ensure seamless integration of designs.
  • Conduct testing and validation of prototypes, analysing results to inform iterative improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentation materials for internal review and client approval.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technological advancements to enhance design processes.
  • Assist in troubleshooting design issues during production phases and implement necessary modifications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programmes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations relevant to product design.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key.
