IT Healthcare Consultant - Quality Assurance (Advanced)

• Perform end-to-end QA testing on technical solutions to identify and resolve defects
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Translate business requirements and policy documentation into test cases
• Conduct functional, regression, usability, and negative testing
• Design and support automated testing scripts where applicable
• Maintain and track defects, issues, and test results documentation
• Publish status reports on testing progress, issues, and risks
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects
• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and QA governance processes
• Ensure compliance with testing standards, policies, and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
• 2+ years experience testing IBM Curam software
• Strong experience in test case development and execution
• Ability to communicate QA findings, defects, and risks clearly to development teams
• Experience creating and publishing QA status reports

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
• Strong understanding of Healthcare/Medicaid operations and business processes
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Experience working in both:

• Waterfall (SDLC)
• Agile environments
• Technical and/or Project Management certifications
